Saxon House has 3 fully air conditioned rooms available for your meeting, conference, business event or training course. We will work with you in order to ensure that your function runs smoothly and successfully. In addition to the three rooms on this page, our two Day Care Centres cater for large events or more informal small events requiring comfortable arm chairs.

Our reception staff can take a register of all your delegates and issue them with any necessary paperwork required for the day.
Our main room the 'Active Age Room' is suitable for up to 50 persons 'Theatre Style' or 28 'Classroom Style.' If being used for a training course a 'horseshoe' configuration with tables and chairs for up to 18 can be set up at the front of the room with further tables at the back for group work.
Perfect for your AGM, training course, conference or meeting the room has air conditioning, a built in digital overhead projector with interactive whiteboard (DVD/VHS capable), an inbuilt hearing aid loop, high speed, secure internet and power points, a room divider to separate the room and use of the adjoining kitchen can be arranged. This fresh light space is ideal for the relaxing environment it is important to create in any business function.
Tea, Coffee and Lunch can be served at either the back of the room or depending on availability and the size of the booking our Boardroom may be offered free of charge for this purpose; please ask in advance if this is a specific requirement.
The Active Age room also has a cushioned floor and is available to use as a venue for your activity similar to our Active Age Programme.

The largest of our two small meeting rooms, Meeting Room One offers a comfortable setting for your meeting of up to 8 people. This room has many other uses which include one to one IT training, panel interviews and can also be used as a treatment room for a therapist so is versatile in every way.
All the usual facilities are available as with our two largest rooms. Hot food can usually be offered with this room (due to smaller numbers.)
Meeting Room Two is our smallest room and appropriately priced at just £5 an hour. This room is ideal for one:one meetings, staff reviews, interviews or just somewhere to sit for a day in peace to catch up with some work. The room can sit up to 4 persons.
All the usual facilities are available as with our two largest rooms. Hot food can usually be offered with this room (due to smaller numbers.)
In addition to the three rooms mentioned above we also have two day care centres with small attractive courtyard gardens which can cater for either your day care needs on a one off or regular basis. These two rooms can also be stripped of their furniture and used for large events or smaller events where a more informal approach is required with our comfortable arm chairs
On some days (currently Monday and Saturday) our Oasis Room is available for hire. The Room has enough comfortable armchairs for up to 30 people with the same space in our dining area. There is a kitchenette area in the dining area, in addition there are four toilets with full disabled access in the room.
With ample prior notice this space can be used for up to 70 people in theatre style leaving ample space for tea/coffee and lunch to be served in the dining area.
Some days (currently Tuesday, Thursday, most Saturdays and Sunday) our Links Room is available for hire. The room has enough comfortable armchairs for up to 10 people with the same space in our dining area. This area also benefits from a magnetic security locking system on the entrance/exit doors. There is a small kitchenette area in the room as well as two toilets with full disabled access.
With ample prior notice this space can be used for up to 20 people in theatre style leaving ample space for tea/coffee and lunch to be served in the dining area.
For an extra fee we can offer a professional minute taking service (needs booking in advance.) Please be assured that your confidentiality is guaranteed with this service.

Any additional requirements are at a cost of £1.25 per person per serving. Tea and Coffee includes Tea, (normal and decaffeinated) fresh filtered coffee and decaffeinated available, chilled filtered water and a selection of biscuits.
Lunch is available as 5 main options, each individually priced. Please see our Conference Facilities Menu Page for our full menu options. On all occasions lunch is served with a bowl of fresh fruit in addition to Orange and/or Apple juice.
On all occasions it is possible to have a two course hot nutritious meal from our kitchen for a limited number of people, please ask for more details. If booking for less than five people we can serve a hot meal if required most days.
If you have any specific requirements or special dietary needs please let us know in advance, our kitchen staff are experienced in catering for people with diabetes and on low fat or wheat/gluten/dairy free diets.
