Age Concern Active Age Centre - Saxon House

Active Age Programme, Suffolk

Opened in January of 2006, Saxon House is a visionary resource for people over 50 in West Suffolk providing 'Active Age' activities to help keep people active in later life.

Existing and intended activities include exercise classes such as Yoga and Tai Chi Arts and Crafts sessions including painting, sketching, singing, scrap booking and digital photography editing. Our well established IT courses run two days week and we also run informational and educational sessions, such as how to deal with doorstep sales people, advice on prevention of fires in the home, and (in conjunction with West Suffolk College) courses such as French and Spanish. In addition to all the activities we run, we will also be organising social events such as coffee mornings, dances, walks and film clubs. For more information on the courses that we run please visit our Activities page.
